Tropical Elegance: Tom and Chenchen’s Dream Wedding in Phuket
When Tom and Chenchen first shared their vision for their wedding, they dreamed of a celebration that would blend tropical luxury with personal, intimate moments, and Sri Panwa in Phuket was the perfect place to bring that dream to life. On March 9th, 2024, with stunning ocean views as the backdrop, their wedding was everything they envisioned and more.
Chenchen’s walk down the aisle at sunset, accompanied by melodies and the soft golden glow of the sky, set the tone for an intimate and heartfelt ceremony. Personal vows, a symbolic sand ceremony, and a kiss sealed their love story.
From cocktails at the Sunset Lounge to a lively reception at the Pool Club, the evening was a celebration of love and joy. Guests enjoyed a lavish dinner, heartfelt speeches, and a stunning fireworks display, making the night unforgettable.
Being a part of Tom and Chenchen’s special day was such a joy. It’s moments like these that make my work so meaningful. I'm truly thankful to have had the opportunity to contribute to their special day.
Liz and Will's Dream Destination Wedding in the Cook Islands
On September 4th, 2024, I had the honor of working with Liz Daley and Will Willson to bring their dream wedding to life with a breathtaking destination wedding at Aitutaki Village, Cook Islands. Surrounded by turquoise waters and lush palm trees, their celebration perfectly captured the natural beauty of the location and the love they share.
The festivities kicked off with several days of island adventures. From the start, Liz and I worked hand-in-hand to bring her floral vision to life, we created a stunning arrangement that reflected her style.
On the wedding day, Liz began with hair and makeup by Gee and Ash, who gave her a timeless look that truly made her radiate with the island’s natural beauty. The ceremony took place in an absolutely stunning spot on the island, with the soft melodies of a string band setting the perfect tone. The vows they exchanged were full of love and laughter, followed by a champagne toast that felt like the perfect start to the evening.
The location was the perfect scenery for such a special day, and I am incredibly grateful to have been part of it. There’s truly no better way to begin a lifetime together than surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of Aitutaki.
A Celebration of Love and Tradition: Mitchelle and Shravan’s Wedding
Weddings are a beautiful union of love and family traditions, and Mitchelle D'Silva and Shravan Shivpuri’s four-day celebration perfectly reflected this. Their wedding, filled with heartwarming moments, was a testament to their love and the blending of their rich backgrounds.
The festivities began on November 27th, 2024, with a lively Sangeet at Brookfield Hall, a charming venue in Brisbane. The location provided the perfect backdrop for the colorful and joyful Hindu pre-wedding celebration. Mitchelle's henna, a symbol of joy and prosperity, was the highlight of the day
The next day, Mitchelle and Shravan exchanged vows in a serene Catholic ceremony at the breathtaking Cathedral of St. Stephen in Brisbane. As their wedding planner, I couldn’t help but admire how perfectly this Gothic Revival cathedral set the tone for such a meaningful day. The sunlight streaming through the colorful glass added a warm, almost magical glow to the space. Mitchelle, looking absolutely radiant thanks to Makeovers by Pallavi Seth, and Shravan, so poised and elegant, were the true stars of this unforgettable moment.
On November 29th, Mitchelle and Shravan celebrated Shravan’s Hindu heritage at the beautiful Cherbon Waters, just 25 minutes from Brisbane’s CBD. I can wholeheartedly say this venue was the perfect setting for their special day. With its serene private gardens and vivid grounds, Cherbon Waters provided a peaceful and intimate atmosphere for the traditional Hindu ceremony. It was an absolute privilege to help bring their vision to life in this stunning venue.
The celebrations ended with a glamorous reception at Water’s Edge, featuring heartfelt speeches, live performances, and a magical first dance under the lights. The night was filled with love, joy, and unforgettable memories.
It was truly an honor to be a part of Mitchelle and Shravan’s wedding journey. Every moment was a reflection of their love and the coming together of two wonderful families. Working alongside such an incredible couple, witnessing their joy and the love they share, made every detail of this celebration even more special.
